deuce deuce big day!
its my birthdayy. double digits. gonna be a good year.
great weekend starting with UB Fest, definitely an experience and so much fun. woke up expecting a rainy day and it could not be nicer outside. I (or pappa d) put a new roundabout chair on my porch so now i get to enjoy the day from here. getting some color. homework's almost done. listening to good music. just got the mail : i got a birthday card from ms. b (thank you!) and my new sketchbook!! prettiest thing ever. also norah gave me a precious necklace that i was in dire need of after my last chain broke. both of these will have pictures up on the next post.

I crafted this series of sketchbooks for the Art for Shoe foundation, created in supports of Jennifer Ruth Shoe and her courageous fight against stage IV melanoma cancer. There are 9 books in total, all left blank for the buyer to fill in for themselves, or leave as it.

didn't even know this was possible, but this is a map created by a group of people with all their favorite spots in richmond. great resource for lazy days you want to do some exploring. im sure you will be familiar with more than a few spots on the map.

the man
my mailman, shelley, is the man. he's about 80 pounds, has a white mustache from the 70's and has classic stories. so today i found out that he knows more about me than most of my friends. ive heard before if you want to learn more about a person, look through their iPod or room, but who knew delivering mail was the best way. makes sense when you think about it.

BgPatters this is kinda cool you can design your own web background with a template they have created. you can choose colors, an image icon, and canvas. you can also save your designs and see ones that others have created. go crazy!

typetester today i found this! for all my graphic design peers who are going forward in web design or just dabbling in it for school, this site is a great resource. It lets you compare fonts right on screen so you can make the correct choice for what your looking for. Just trust me and take a look. rock your socks off!
